   Prior to becoming a playwright, Kelly had a 15-year career as a professional journalist beginning as a freelance writer with the Main Line Times, covering Philadelphia’s historic Main Line region. She went on to serve as associate editor at Main Line Today magazine and as assistant editor of Directors & Boards magazine, a leading corporate governance journal, where interviews included: Bob Woodward of The Washington Post; William Cohen, former secretary of defense, and Henry Paulson, former head of Goldman Sachs and one time treasury secretary. As founding writer/editor of Reelwriter.net she interviewed, Robert Duvall, Barry Levinson, and Jamie Redford, among others. Kelly formerly spent a 20-year career as an actress in television and radio commercials. Credits include The Jay Leno Comedy Special, and a recurring role on the weekly program Check It Out on KYW 3 Philadelphia. On stage, Kelly appeared in Wait Until Dark at People’s Light & Theatre Company, in Malvern Pennsylvania and at Cape May Stage, in Cape May, New Jersey in Neil Simon’s I Ought to be in Pictures and Last of the Red Hot Lovers. Kelly made her stage debut at age four.
